Privacy Policy
Legal policies should receive final review from a qualified UAE lawyer before publication.

3. How We Receive Personal Data
We may receive personal data:
- Directly from you when you register, request activation, bid, pay, submit a dispute, contact us or change preferences.
- From a company that appoints you as an authorized representative or user.

- From banks, payment channels, delivery providers, inspectors and other transaction service providers.
- From government, licensing, registration or verification sources where permitted.
- Automatically from the Website, app, devices and security or analytics technologies.
4. Naximum-Managed Seller Transactions
An Auction Partner may authorize Naximum to coordinate directly with the underlying seller regarding payment and ownership transfer. In that case, the partner provides or securely transfers the seller information needed for the transaction into Naximum's organizer environment. This may include identity, contact, vehicle-ownership, bank-account and transfer information. The Auction Partner is responsible for having authority to provide that information and for giving the seller any notice required before transfer. Naximum uses the information only for transaction management, payment, ownership transfer, compliance, records and related support.
5. How We Use Personal Data
We may use personal data to:
- Create and manage accounts.
- Verify identity, company authority and Bidder eligibility.
- Configure deposits, bid limits, approved devices and delivery eligibility.
- Operate auctions and record binding bids.

- Comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting and law-enforcement requirements.
- Establish, exercise or defend legal rights and contractual claims.
6. Basis for Processing
Depending on the activity, we process personal data because it is necessary to take requested steps or perform a contract, comply with a legal obligation, protect legitimate business and security interests, establish or defend legal rights, protect individuals or property, or because you have provided consent. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing already completed and may prevent us from providing an optional feature or communication channel.
7. Notifications and Marketing
We send operational messages needed for account security, auctions, bids, Purchases, payment, handover, disputes and ownership transfer. You may also choose alerts for followed auctions and Interest Lists through Push Notification, SMS, WhatsApp or Email. Channel availability may vary. Marketing messages are sent only where permitted. You may unsubscribe or change marketing preferences at any time. Essential service and transaction messages cannot be disabled while an account or Purchase remains active.
9. Service Providers
Service providers may process personal data on our behalf only for agreed services and subject to appropriate confidentiality, security and data-protection obligations. Our core application and database are hosted using Microsoft Azure infrastructure in the UAE. Some supporting communication, analytics, security or technology providers may process information in other countries.
10. International Data Transfers
Where personal data is transferred outside the UAE, we take reasonable steps to use a lawful transfer mechanism and safeguards appropriate to the information and destination. These safeguards may include contractual obligations, access restrictions, security controls or transfer to a jurisdiction recognized as providing adequate protection.
11. Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this Policy and for applicable legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute and recordkeeping requirements.
Account and Bidder information may be retained while the account is active and for an appropriate period afterward. Auction, Bid, Purchase, payment, transfer and dispute records may be kept for the period required to support legal and financial records. Enquiry and marketing information is retained until it is no longer needed or you withdraw the relevant permission, subject to suppression records needed to respect an unsubscribe request. When information is no longer required, it is securely deleted, anonymized or restricted from ordinary use.
12. Data Security
We use administrative, technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure. Measures may include identity and access controls, encryption, logging, backups, environment separation, monitoring and staff confidentiality requirements. No system can guarantee absolute security. You must protect your login details, devices and verification codes and notify Naximum immediately if you suspect unauthorized account access.
13. Your Privacy Rights
Subject to applicable law and relevant exceptions, you may request to:
- Receive information about how your personal data is processed.
- Access personal data held about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Delete personal data where there is no lawful reason to retain it.
- Restrict or object to certain processing.
- Receive or transfer eligible personal data in a usable format.
- Withdraw consent where processing depends on consent.
- Object to certain decisions based solely on automated processing where applicable.
We may request identity verification before responding. A request may be limited or refused where permitted by law, including where information must be retained for a Purchase, legal claim, fraud prevention or regulatory obligation.
14. Automated Controls
The system may automatically apply configured controls such as Bidder eligibility, deposit-based maximum bids, device limits, vehicle matching and notification preferences. Material account restrictions, suspensions and dispute decisions are subject to human review by Naximum management.
15. Children
Naximum Auctions is a professional dealer service and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly permit a person under 18 years of age to operate a Bidder account. If you believe that a child's personal data has been submitted, contact us so that we can review and take appropriate action.
16. Third-Party Links and Services
The Website and app may link to external services. Their handling of personal data is governed by their own privacy terms, and Naximum is not responsible for their independent practices.
17. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect service, operational or legal changes. The updated version will be published with a revised date. Where appropriate, material changes affecting registered users will also be communicated through the app or another available channel.

19. Cookies and Similar Technologies
This Cookie Policy explains how Naximum Auctions Organizing L.L.C S.O.C ('Naximum', 'we', 'us' or 'our') uses cookies and similar technologies on auctions.naximum.com. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
You can review or change your cookie choices at any time.
20. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files placed on a browser or device when a website is visited. Similar technologies may include local storage, pixels, tags and software identifiers. These technologies can support essential website functions, remember preferences, protect security, measure performance and understand how visitors use the Website.
21. Cookie Categories
The Website may use the following categories:
- Essential cookies. Required for core functions such as navigation, security, session management and remembering cookie choices. These cannot be disabled through the Website preference centre.
- Preference cookies. Remember choices such as language or display preferences where enabled.
- Analytics cookies. Help us understand page visits, traffic sources and how visitors interact with the Website.
- Performance cookies. Help identify technical problems and improve loading, reliability and navigation quality.
- Marketing cookies. May measure campaigns, advertising performance or relevant audience activity where those tools are enabled.
22. Consent
Essential cookies may be used because they are necessary for the Website to function and remain secure. Non-essential cookies will be used only after the visitor provides the required consent. A visitor may accept all, reject non-essential cookies or manage categories through the cookie preference centre. Withdrawing consent does not affect cookie use that occurred before the preference was changed.
23. Cookie Preference Centre
The cookie banner and preference centre should use the following labels:
- Accept all
- Reject non-essential
- Manage preferences
- Save preferences
- Close preferences
- Always on — for essential cookies
24. Cookies We May Use
The exact cookies used may change as the Website and enabled services develop. The preference centre should display the current cookie provider, purpose, category and duration where technically available. Typical uses include remembering consent choices and language settings, maintaining security, measuring page usage through analytics tools, monitoring technical performance, and measuring advertising campaigns where marketing tools are enabled. The development team must confirm the live cookie inventory before launch and update the preference centre whenever a new non-essential technology is enabled.
25. Third-Party Technologies
Some analytics, communication, embedded-content, map, app-store, social-media or advertising features may be supplied by third parties. Where activated, those providers may place or read cookies according to the consent settings and their own privacy terms. Naximum does not control the independent retention practices of a third-party provider.
26. How Long Cookies Remain
Session cookies normally expire when the browser is closed. Persistent cookies remain for a defined period or until they are deleted. Duration depends on the cookie's purpose and provider. The current duration should be shown in the preference centre where available and should not exceed what is reasonably necessary for that purpose.
27. Browser and Device Controls
You may also block or delete cookies through browser or device settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the Website from working correctly. Browser controls operate separately from the Naximum preference centre and may need to be configured on each browser or device.
28. Analytics and Advertising Choices
Analytics and marketing technologies should remain disabled until the required consent is received. Rejecting these categories does not prevent access to the public Website, but it may reduce our ability to measure usage, diagnose performance or understand campaign results.
29. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy when Website technologies, providers or legal requirements change. The revised Policy will be published with an updated date. Where a change materially affects consent choices, the Website may ask visitors to choose again.
